How does a Deeds of Change project work?
Do you already have an idea for how to help your community in some way?
For example, do you want to help seniors by reading to them? Or help cats get adopted? Or find a way to distribute food or services to the needy?
To create and execute a project through Deeds of Change, start by filling out a simple template explaining the problem you want to solve in your community, who you want to help, how you plan to conduct the project, and what else you will need to complete your project. There is also a place on the template for you to address fundraising ideas to help pay for the project.
Are you not yet sure how you would like to help your community? No worries! Deeds of Change can help you match your interests and values to specific needs in your community. We mentor and support you every step of the way as you generate ideas and conduct your project, and will provide a web page on our site for you to gather donations (tax-deductible for donors!) and support.
